Kagerou Daze Official Anthology -SUMMER-

Tempted by Takane in maid outfit (Itokichi's comic), I finally gave in and ordered my copy of this KagePro Anthology. As the title suggests, this anthology have the theme of 'Summer', which was pretty much a theme on KagePro universe already, however, this anthology pretty much took a comedy turn of the Summer theme.

((Also you might know or not, not long after this got released, there was several other KagePro news I posted already on my page in Indonesian, such as SHAFT going to animate 'Mekaku City Actors' and the release of Otsukimi Recital and Yuukei Yesterday PV, but I won't be writing them on a new post here because I was too late.))



Shidu and Sato Mahiro didn't have a comic aside from illustration, and I think the guest artists varies again. The guest artists that have written comics in this anthology are Aki Arata, Osora, Satou Toshio, Ayane Shikihito, Komesuke, Ooshima Renmei, Sadaouji, Itokichi, Touzuki Youko, Tanaka Strike, Ryuusee and Wannyanpuu.

All the comics of the anthology suits the theme of summer, and it have lots of amusing comics. Actually--- most of them are hilarious and funny, and I found lots of them funnier than several comics of UPPER. Going by this pattern, I wonder if the next anthology, WINTER, will be more depressing as it was with DOWNER....

This anthology finally have all of Mekakushi-dan member participating, unfortunately Ayano didn't appear even though she was in the character introductions....

Ah, that's right! Let's list top 3 of my favorites here:

• Your Voice and Soda Ice by Itokichi ---- for it's HaruTaka goodness, slightly sad theme that stands out, and Takane in cosplay outfits.
• Kisaragi Summer Project by Komesuke ---- for it's hilarious take on sibling relationship of Momo and Shintarou, and Ene.
• Me and Konoha and Summer Vacation by Ryuusee --- for the hilarity of over-dramatic explanation on Konoha's immense physical strength.
